BF3 Players Only Allowed One Soldier Per Account

Battlefield 3 fans get ready to nerd-rage. DICE has finally given a straight answer on the question of whether BF3 players will be able to create multiple soldiers and usernames. And that answer is: No. Nup. Nope. Not a chance.

The news comes via DICE's Daniel Matros, who succinctly tweeted the answer. But it gets worse. Mr Matros also confirmed that your username in BF3's Battlelog browser is the same username you pick for EA's Origin service. The only way to change this username is to contact EA tech support and politely request a name change.

This has lead to the unofficial BF3 Blog speculating that your soldier name will also be your Origin username. However, this appears to be unconfirmed at the moment.
